Η λαμπερή βραδιά των βραβείων Εmmy πραγματοποιήθηκε το βράδυ της Κυριακής (22/9) στο Microsoft Theater στο Los Angeles, στην California και έστεψε τους μεγάλους νικητές των τηλεοπτικών σειρών. Ανάμεσα σε αυτούς ήταν φυσικά και το Game of Thrones που βραβεύτηκε ως η καλύτερη σειρά (δράμα) ενώ πήρε και το βραβείο για τον Β' ανδρικό ρόλο με τον πρωταγωνιστή Peter Dinklage.
Στους μεγάλους νικητές της βραδιάς ήταν και το Chernobyl που βραβεύτηκε ως η καλύτερη μίνι σειρά.
